About Photography By Ty
Photography by Ty is locally owned business in Sierra Vista, Arizona. We cover the complete spectrum of photography. Hours of operation are, weekday evenings, weekends and major holidays.
Ty has been taking photographs since 1968. Today he uses only digital media for taking photographs. He also teaches digital photography workshops for the City of Sierra Vista Department of Parks and Leisure Services. He is also a volunteer photographer for the Fort Huachuca Scout newspaper.
In 2008, Ty was one of seventy-nine photographers worldwide to be entered in the Pulitzer Prize category of feature photography for his work on B Troop, 4th U.S. Cavalry Regiment (Memorial). He finished outside the top three in the feature photography category.
